FAQ
So what is this thing, anyway?
The Less Than Epic Adventures of TJ and Amal is an in-progress graphic novel. I've been messing with the story since December '07, and working on the comic in earnest since April '08. It's about halfway done at this point.
The outer part of the story is summarized in the header above, but the meat of it is about how two personalities collide and transform each other. Or some such sentimental claptrap.
There's also scotch, sex, and greasy breakfast food.
Do you have a publisher/contract?
No, but I haven't shopped it around yet. At this point, I'm planning on self-publishing.
How come there's fanart and fanfic if the comic's not even published yet?
Several months passed between the time I came up with the characters/story and the time I decided to put it all into a comic book. During those months, I posted a lot of development sketches and story doodles to LiveJournal and various gallery sites, and it sort of took off.
Since then, though, I've been keeping the most important plot details pretty closely guarded.
Will you be at [convention]?
I might; drop me a line at the e-mail address listed below. There is a small chance I'll be at AnimeFEST in September, but I don't have anything in stone on the calendar for the rest of 2009.
Is this story "yaoi"?
I... maybe? Probably not? No. I think. Uh.
